The Invacare TDX SP2 is a modern, high-performance and highly manoeuvrable power wheelchair designed for those who require full functionality indoors and out.It boasts a huge range of features including SureStep suspension with a stability lock system to ensure all six wheels remain firmly on the ground even on challenging surfaces; central wheel steering allowing it to turn on the spot, intuitive controls for both user and, if required, an attendant using the IDC dual control; tension-adjustable head and back rest; elevating leg rests, seat lifter, tilt-in space and recline functions and top quality dual DuraWatt motors with sealed brushes for low noise and reliability powered by a 50aH rechargeable battery (supplied, with charger) for a top speed of 6mph and up to 16 mile range.
In addition to all of this, the TDX SP2 is fully compatible with a wide selection of optional extras (available separately) including Invacare's Modulite optional extra seating system enabling postural support and comfort that can be set up to the needs of any user and the Invacare LiNX REM400 remote control unit for those unable to use the standard controls, which also has built-in Bluetooth connectivity allowing wireless connection to up to three Bluetooth-equipped smart devices including mouse movers.
Despite its impressive capabilities, it's a surprisingly compact chair with a total width of 61cm (24 inches) and total length of 116cm (46 inches) - which combined with the central wheel steering allows it to be used even in smaller homes and crowded shops. Invacare have also taken great care to make sure there are no protruding nuts, bolts, wheel forks or anything else that might get snagged on furniture, other people's clothing and so on.
The electronics have been extensively tested by our electrical engineers, who reported no problems. They also performed a full PAT test and certified the chair, battery and charger safe to use with the UK mains network. Finally, we gave it a full function test and found that all features and functions are in full working order.
This one was built in 2017, but it's only seen a little use - it's got a few minor scuffs and scrapes just like any chair quickly picks up in normal use, but all of these are extremely and minor and entirely cosmetic with no effect on use at all. There are no damaged or missing parts, and it is supplied with a battery, charger and the original owner's manual in protective plastic folder with care tips. Brand new, a basic Invacare TDX SP2 NB costs around £5400; we have taken these minor defects into account when setting a low price.

Change of Mind
If when you receive your order you are not completely satisfied, you may return the items to us within 30 days for a refund. Returns will be processed within three working days once the goods have been received by us.
Items must be returned to us in the same condition as they were received by you. This includes, but is not limited to: original packaging, original boxes, packaging materials, manuals, blank warranty cards, accessories and documents. We reserve the right to refuse a return or deduct an amount for lost value where the item is returned in a different condition.

Around 4,000 patients are cared for each year at the Hospice in Cambridge, the Alan Hudson Day Treatment Centre in Wisbech and in patients’ own homes via the Arthur Rank Community Team. This care supports people to improve their quality of life and fulfil their end of their life choices.
Alongside the care provided by the Inpatient Unit, Living Well services and Hospice at Home teams, patients can access: patient and family support; lymphoedema care; complementary therapy; medical and pain outpatient clinics; and advice from the clinical nurse specialists within the Specialist Palliative Care Home Team. Programmes are practical, holistic and tailored to the individual patient, family member or carer and may also include rehabilitative support, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and psychological support.
It will cost £10.5 million in 2021/2022 to run services, which are provided free of charge to patients and their loved ones. Contracted services from the NHS are budgeted at £6.98 million, meaning that £3.52 million needs to be raised through donations, fundraising activities and trading. The Charity is extremely grateful to the local community for the continual dedication, commitment and generosity they show in supporting towards meeting this target.
