Approx. 60cm long - please note this is a huge 1:8 scale display model, substantially larger than conventional diecast models

Produced by DeAgostini / Eaglemoss, the size, build quality and level of detailing seen in this impressive 1:8 scale Nissan GT-R (R35) is breathtaking.

At approximately 60cm (24 inches) in length, this is a substantial display model and an excellent centrepiece for any collection. The model represents the GT-R with acuurate replication throughout, from the exterior bodywork to the fully detailed interior, engine bay and underside.

Unlike smaller diecast models, the 1:8 scale allows for an extraordinary level of realism and presence. The model features opening panels, a detailed cockpit, realistic suspension components, a highly detailed engine compartment and many other features.

The car is finished in silver and is supplied with its original GT-R display plinth and the original Nissan R35 GT-R magnetic activation key.

Condition

The model is in very good condition, presents very well and makes an impressive display piece.

The bodywork, interior, engine bay, wheels, badges and trim are complete and in generally very good condition. The model appears complete and retains excellent display presence.

The following faults have been identified and reflected in the photographs:

Rear screen has a small chip/crack along the lower edge.
Rear screen also exhibits visible blemishes/clouding within the glazing, visible as circular marks when viewed in certain light.
Lighting/electronic functions are currently not working: fresh batteries were fitted and the included magnetic activation key was passed over the entire model without success.
One underside fixing screw is missing adjacent to the battery compartment area.
One front wheel has a small amount of play, suggesting a loose internal steering or suspension component. The wheel remains securely attached and displays correctly.

The battery compartment, switch and original magnetic GT-R activation key are all present.
No further investigation or repair work has been undertaken.

Change of Mind

Arthur Rank Hospice Charity supports people in Cambridgeshire living with an advanced serious illness or other life-limiting condition and those who need end-of-life care. Its ‘Outstanding’ services are provided free of charge to patients and their families. The aim is to provide the highest quality care, helping them to make every moment count.

Around 4,000 patients are cared for each year at the Hospice in Cambridge, the Alan Hudson Day Treatment Centre in Wisbech and in patients’ own homes via the Arthur Rank Community Team. This care supports people to improve their quality of life and fulfil their end of their life choices.

Alongside the care provided by the Inpatient Unit, Living Well services and Hospice at Home teams, patients can access: patient and family support; lymphoedema care; complementary therapy; medical and pain outpatient clinics; and advice from the clinical nurse specialists within the Specialist Palliative Care Home Team. Programmes are practical, holistic and tailored to the individual patient, family member or carer and may also include rehabilitative support, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and psychological support.

It will cost £10.5 million in 2021/2022 to run services, which are provided free of charge to patients and their loved ones. Contracted services from the NHS are budgeted at £6.98 million, meaning that £3.52 million needs to be raised through donations, fundraising activities and trading. The Charity is extremely grateful to the local community for the continual dedication, commitment and generosity they show in supporting towards meeting this target.
