Small octavo, pp. xiv, 402 (including both half title pages). In a contemporary binding of full sheep, the boards ruled in gilt. Tinted edges.

Understandably, bearing in mind its age, the binding is somewhat scuffed and worn (please look at our photos carefully). The lower hinge is cracked but the stitching remains intact, if a little loose; the upper board is hanging on by a thread. Three pages are misnumbered (human error on the part of the printer). There is a short, clean tear to one leaf affecting a little of the text but with no loss. A previous early owner has added a brief inked amendment/annotation to one page. Apart from a thumb smudge or two the contents are generally in very good, clean, well-margined order.

This is a rare work. It is even rarer to find a copy in a contemporary untouched binding with the text as fresh as this one.

Returns

Change of Mind

If when you receive your order you are not completely satisfied, you may return the items to us within 30 days for a refund. Returns will be processed within three working days once the goods have been received by us.

Items must be returned to us in the same condition as they were received by you. We reserve the right to refuse a return or deduct an amount for lost value where the item is returned in a different condition.
