Description

If you don't want to have to learn all the finer details of aperture, shutter speed and exposure in order to use an SLR but prefer conventional film photography to digital, the Ricoh RZ-800 is an excellent camera.

Firstly, Ricoh have always been well-respected for the superb quality of their lenses - this one boasts an excellent 38-80mm zoom system with maximum aperture of f/4.5 and seven optical elements, enabling you to bring the subject up close and ensuring sharp images and natural colour rendition in a very wide range of lighting conditions. Secondly, its rapid 5-point autofocus with 650 focusing steps was among the best available in any compact camera when it was first introduced and even now is superior to the majority of sub-£250 digital compacts. Thirdly, this model was fitted with an absolutely superb viewfinder which is large, bright and features easily viewable field of view and parallax correction marks, making framing the photo a doddle even for new photographers.

It also boasts a range of features, some of them unique to this camera: macro mode offering focus at as little as 30cm; programmable shutter range from 1 second to 1/400th second; DX coding permitting it to detect and automatically adjust settings for films from ISO 64 (exceptionally bright light) to 3200 (exceptionally low light); flash with 19-metre range, auto on/off, soft setting and red eye reduction; spot autofocus (allowing precise focus on any desired part of a subject); automatic backlight compensation; digital LCD display; TV mode to detect and avoid flicker when photographing TV/computer screens and a remote control socket.

This example has been tested and is in excellent condition: there are no cracks or scratches in the case and the film compartment is clean without dust; the lens cover, viewfinder cover, film compartment door and battery cover are all intact and work perfectly and the light seals are in excellent order. The optics are superb and there is no dust inside the barrel. All the buttons and other controls work, and there is no wear to the tripod bushing. It's supplied with a nylon strap and leather-effect carrying case, inside the original box.

Please note that the camera requires one 6V CR-P2 battery, which is widely available in camera shops, some electrical suppliers and online.

Some low-value items will be sent by Royal Mail 2nd Class. Some items of higher value are sent by Royal Mail Signed For or Special Delivery, which requires a signature. If you are not present at the time of delivery, a card will be left instructing you to arrange a redelivery, or to collect your order from the local sorting office.

Change of Mind

If when you receive your order you are not completely satisfied, you may return the items to us within 30 days for a refund. Returns will be processed within three working days once the goods have been received by us.

Items must be returned to us in the same condition as they were received by you. This includes, but is not limited to: original packaging, original boxes, packaging materials, manuals, blank warranty cards, accessories and documents. We reserve the right to refuse a return or deduct an amount for lost value where the item is returned in a different condition.

Its 'Outstanding' services are provided free of charge to patients and their families. The aim is to provide the highest quality care, helping them to make every moment count.

More than 4,100 patients are cared for each year at the Hospice in Cambridge, the Alan Hudson Day Treatment Centre in Wisbech and in patients' own homes via the Arthur Rank Community Team. This care supports people to improve their quality of life and fulfil their end of their life choices.

Alongside the care provided by the Inpatient Unit, Day Therapy and Hospice at Home teams, patients can access: patient and family support; lymphoedema care; complementary therapy; medical and pain outpatient clinics; and advice from the clinical nurse specialists within the Specialist Palliative Care Home Team. Programmes are practical, holistic and tailored to the individual patient, family member or carer and may also include rehabilitative support, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and psychological support.

It will cost £8.56 million in 2020/2021 to run services, which are provided free of charge to patients and their loved ones. £4.29 million has currently been secured from the NHS, meaning that £4.27 million needs to be raised through donations, fundraising activities and trading. The Charity is extremely grateful to the local community for the continual dedication, commitment and generosity they show in supporting towards meeting this target.
