110 cartridge film was introduced to the world by Kodak in 1972, along with the latest model in their Instamatic range. Other manufacturers soon adopted the new format, allowing them to make cameras that were truly pocket-sized, yet not so small that ergonomics suffered.Then Minolta decided that they were going to design a single lens reflex (SLR) model for 110 film, and the result was this - the Minolta 110 Zoom SLR, one of the quirkiest cameras ever produced.
It was the very first 110 SLR and one of only a handful of similar designs ever put into production; looking unlike anything else, it appeared on the market in 1976 and then disappeared three years later largely because photographers are a conservative bunch and didn't like the radical looks - its replacement, the Minolta 110 Zoom SLR II, looks far more like a conventional SLR.
Sales of the original model were, therefore, not at all healthy, and probably contributed to Minolta's eventual demise to manufacturer of cheap and nasty point-and-shoots, then to mere subsidiary of a photocopier company. This means that they're a rare find today, especially in this sort of condition - this example appears to have seen very little use (probably because the owner realised that 35mm SLRs are better in just about every way, so went back to using one of those) with almost no cosmetic damage. We're not able to perform a full test for functionality because we've only got one cartirdge of 110 film and we're leaving it sealed so that whoever buys this camera can have it, but everything appears to be working perfectly - all the switches and selectors, the film advance and the shutter. There is no dust or fungus to be seen within the barrel and the film compartment is clean with a tight door; putting a small, bright LED inside and examini9ng it in a dark room revealed no light leakage. Please do not that there is some evidence of battery leakage in the battery compartment, but this isn't terrible and does not prevent the batteries connecting to the terminals.
The camera comes with an original case, flash and case for it and straps. Due to the limitations of 110 film (small photos, lots of grain) the format has become popular with lomographers, who are also most likely to be interested in this camera - therefore, we're including a cartridge of expired 110 film (unknown vintage), under the usual understanding that shooting with expired film can yield some unexpected results or sometimes none at all. 110 was discontinued some time ago, but very small batches of new stock are still made and can be found online.

Change of Mind
If when you receive your order you are not completely satisfied, you may return the items to us within 30 days for a refund. Returns will be processed within three working days once the goods have been received by us.
Items must be returned to us in the same condition as they were received by you. Alongside the care provided by the Inpatient Unit, Living Well services and Hospice at Home teams, patients can access: patient and family support; lymphoedema care; complementary therapy; medical and pain outpatient clinics; and advice from the clinical nurse specialists within the Specialist Palliative Care Home Team. Programmes are practical, holistic and tailored to the individual patient, family member or carer and may also include rehabilitative support, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and psychological support.
It will cost £10.5 million in 2021/2022 to run services, which are provided free of charge to patients and their loved ones. Contracted services from the NHS are budgeted at £6.98 million, meaning that £3.52 million needs to be raised through donations, fundraising activities and trading. The Charity is extremely grateful to the local community for the continual dedication, commitment and generosity they show in supporting towards meeting this target.
